On several occasions, I have visited areas in Latin America and Africa that are victims of endless hunger for resources such as minerals and fossil fuels. Social and environmental rights are violated more than ever. People being chased off their land, or children playing ankle-deep in oil sludge. A "man-made" process of enrichment and impoverishment is going on, due to our current economic system. With systemic change, building another, sustainable economy, this can be stopped. And fighting for the enforcement of environmental law as a human right. With this background and conviction I‘m happy to be able to serve as the president of Both Ends since January 2024.
