In mei 2022 maakten minister Hoekstra van Buitenlandse Zaken en minister Schreinemacher voor Internationale Handel en Ontwikkelingssamenwerking bekend dat ook Nederland gaat werken aan een Feministisch Buitenlandbeleid (FBB). Dit betekent dat Nederland in haar het buitenlandbeleid meer aandacht gaat besteden aan inclusiviteit in het algemeen en specifiek aan vrouwenrechten en gendergelijkheid, waaronder LGBTIQ+. Deze feministische focus zal terugkomen in alle aspecten van het buitenlands beleid; veiligheid, handel, diplomatie en internationale samenwerking.
Ter bevordering van een inclusief proces en om inzicht te krijgen in hoe een Nederlandse FBB eruit zou moeten zien, opende het ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken een internetconsultatie. Both ENDS verwelkomt de FBB en deelt daarom graag haar input en suggesties.
