Both ENDS
Both ENDS has been asked by FMO to comment on its draft investment approach to responsibly managed forest plantations. To follow are a number of observations and recommendations, partially informed by Both ENDS long legacy of working in the forest & land arena, in dialogue with international donors, philanthropic foundations, companies, certification bodies and notably with forest dependent communities and other land users.
De Nederlandse overheid verleent via haar exportkredietverzekeraar Atradius DSB (ADSB) exportsteun aan bedrijven die activiteiten in het buitenland ondernemen. De staat wil dat projecten die het verzekert geen negatieve gevolgen hebben voor mens en milieu en stelt daarom eisen rondom maatschappelijk verantwoord ondernemen (MVO). Over het MVO-beleid liep tot eind april een consultatie waarop een coalitie van dertien maatschappelijke organisaties uit binnen- en buitenland, waaronder Both ENDS en Milieudefensie, heeft gereageerd.
